Annapurna Base Camp Trek

Trip Overview:

The Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) trek is a classic adventure that offers trekkers the chance to come face to face with the Annapurna massif, including the world’s tenth-highest peak, Annapurna I (8,091 m). This 9-day journey takes you through diverse landscapes, from lush forests and terraced fields to high-altitude alpine terrain. Along the way, you’ll visit charming Gurung villages, experience the warmth of local hospitality, and relax in natural hot springs. The trek culminates at Annapurna Base Camp, where you’ll be surrounded by a breathtaking 360-degree view of the Himalayan giants.

Day-by-Day Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu.
Day 2: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara.
Day 3: Trek from Pokhara to Nayapul and then to Chhomrung (2,920m).
Day 4: Trek from Chhomrung to Himalaya.
Day 5: Trek from Himalaya to Machapuchare Base Camp (MBC) and then to Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) (4,130m).
Day 6: Trek from ABC to MBC and then to Sinuwa (2,250m).
Day 7: Trek from Sinuwa to Jhinu Danda, then drive back to Pokhara.
Day 8: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu.
Day 9: Departure from Kathmandu.
