Day 1 - Kathmandu – Arrival Transfer to Hotel
Day 2 - Kathmandu to Pokhara (O/N Pokhara)
Fewa Lake in Pokhara is the second largest lake in Nepal. It covers an area of about 4.43 sq. km and has an average depth of around 8.6 m. The lake is a major attraction to those who are drawn to water sports or families who simply love absorbing the beautiful scenery. The warm water of the lake is inviting and ideal for a trip on a little wooden boat. The boats can be rented along the shoreline o an hourly basis or even for an entire day. Sailboats are also available but there isn’t enough wind. The Annapurna Range and the Dhaulagiri Range loom in a distance. On a perfectly calm day, the mountains are mirrored on the surface of the lake.
Day 3 - Pokhara valley sight seeing (O/N Pokhara )
Located on the outskirts of Pokhara city is the hill known as Sarangkot. It offers one of Pokhara's greatest views of the Annapurna Himalayan mountains peaks. It is best viewed at dawn or dusk due to the spectacular pink and orange hues the mountain range takes on. There's a non-descript village just before the fiew point which is based atop an ancient fort. Sarangkot is also the popular location for paragliders to launch from in Pokhara.
Bindhyabasini, one of the oldest temples in the Pokhara valley, has an immense cultural value.dedicated to Goddess Bhagawati, Bindhyabasini is considered as one of the main and foremost Shaktipiths of western Nepal.Situated at a small hill-lock in between the main old market and Bagar it is at a height of 3000 ft.above from the sea level.
The Seti originates from the snow fields and glaciers around the twin peaks of Api and Nampa in the south facing slopes of the main Himalayas. The area is near the trijunction of the borders of Nepal, India (Kumaon, Uttarakhand), and China (Tibet). The river first flows in a south-easterly direction, then turns and flows in a south-westerly and finally south-easterly again before joining the Karnali or Ghagra River. It has cut a spectacular gorge across the Mahabharat Range and appears to be lost amongst caves and tunnels for a short distance
This is the famous waterfall of Pokhara called Devi's Fall..Water coming from Phewa lake vanishes into the earth at the Devi's Fall. Locally known as Patale Chhango, Devi's fall is an attractive waterfall lying about 2 km south-west of Pokhara valley. Devi, a Swiss lady, was swept away when the floodgates were accidently opened.
Just across the road from Devi’s Falls, is perhaps the slightly less famous, but equally stunning Gupteshwor Mahadev. A testament to the statement that locals like to keep noting, ‘Pokhara is hollow’; Gupteshwor is a 3 km long porous cavern underneath the main road of Chorepatan. Divided into halves, the first half of the cave has a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva or Mahadev, some 40 meters from entrance. A recent addition is an artificial divide in the left corner where a life size replica of a cow-Mahadev’s faithful ride-resides.
This expansive museum is devoted to the mountains of Nepal, the mountaineers who climbed them and the people who call them home. Inside, you can see original gear from many of the first Himalayan ascents, as well as displays on the history, culture, geology, and flora and fauna of the Himalaya.Once you’ve been inspired by the climbers of the past, head outside where there’s a 21m climbing wall and a 9.5m-high climbable model of Mt Manaslu.
